Wendla from

Spring Awakening

The Edwardian dress I draped for Wendla was designed by Stephanie Mae Fisher, and constructed with the help of first hands Mel Wong, Emma Seay Criag, Aurora Kenyon,  and Ivey Shoemaker.

The dress is made from cotton organdy and covered in hand embroidery to mimic smocking. The fabrics were all dyed ivory by me, and the silk organza petticoat was painted by Tanya Olalde.
